About Hazora
About Hazora
Hazora is a disaster monitoring and alerting application designed to help people stay informed about significant natural hazards around them and around the world.
Natural hazards generate immense amounts of disparate scientific and meteorological data that can be difficult for individuals to interpret during an emerging crisis. Hazora brings disaster information from multiple authoritative, established sources into one unified application and presents it in a simpler, calm, and accessible way.
What Hazora Monitors
Hazora V1 is intentionally focused on five hazard categories:
- Earthquakes: Seismic activity, epicenter locations, focal depths, and magnitude readings.
- Floods: Inland river flooding, flash floods, and coastal inundation events.
- Storms: Cyclonic weather systems, severe thunderstorms, gale-force winds, and heavy precipitation.
- Tornadoes: Severe rotating wind events and supercell hazard corridors.
- Tsunamis: Rapid sea-level displacement waves caused by sub-marine earthquakes.
How Hazora Works
Hazora brings disaster information from established global monitoring networks into a single, unified view.
Instead of navigating multiple complex bulletins, emergency feeds, and disconnected websites, Hazora brings together verified natural hazard reports and presents them in a simpler, clearer way.
Hazora highlights what is relevant to your location and the areas where the people you care about live, helping you understand threats without delay, clutter, or confusion.
